Mr. Thillay from French ministry of education presented the new roadmap for schools in France at the Beaconing GA

On the last day of the Beaconing General Assembly, Mr. Thillay from the French Ministry of Education presented the new roadmap for the French education including the reform oof the lycées and the Baccalaureate and the vocational training. This initiative includes tenders for developing new digital material and solutions. A part of it is a new platform that will provide teaching materials for Cultural of technology and industry of France in the field of

• Robotics
• Energy
• Automotive and transport

which can be used for VET and secondary education in Industrie 4.0

The platform is co-creatively developed and is currently in its debugging phase. The platform will both be used for school education as well as for internal company training.  The platform will allow a personalization of the different course units. In addition there are several other initiatives that foster collaboration specifically with Germany (Industrie 4.0) and Canada (on standardization).
