Early every year, there are 2 significant learning Technologies Conferences and Exhibitions in London, The BETT Show and the Learning Technologies Show.

Testing is under way on ‘Accessabar’, an accessibility tool which will be integrated into the BEACONING Platform. With the help of INESC in Portugal, blind and visually impaired users will participate in the usability assessment of Accessabar. The users will test the compatibility with screen readers and other assistive software, as well as the ease of use and compliance with accessibility guidelines. The results will help develop the Accessabar and related accessibility tools into an effective and fully accessible product, ready for the Alpha prototype. Results from this study will be available in the coming weeks.
